July 2026: Month of Healing This year, I had anticipated being on a panel with a major "cosplayers of age" group followed by an epic photoshoot. That never happened, and will never happen in all likelihood. That being said, though, I found out about an upcoming X-Men photoshoot gathering in San Francisco which turned out to be an awesome day of cosplay, much like the cosplay gatherings back in the day. Even on the drive back home, I crossed the Richmond-San Mateo bridge which brought a sort of nostalgic pang with driving across the low causeway across water with the tall lampposts on either side (I might look for an opportunity to drive it at night), and the Bay waters on either side.
